A woman who wanted to take cute pregnancy pictures with her baby bump was astonished when her stomach remained completely flat – even at eight months.
Posting on TikTok under the name The Harris Family @the.harris.familyy the Australian mum shows how she looks at different stages of her pregnancy and viewers were baffled.
At five months, she still had no signs of a baby bump even when she was wearing a bikini.
Taking a selfie from the side at six months with her shirt pulled up, her stomach is still very flat and at seven months she still looks very much the same.
At the eight-month mark, she posed in a bikini again and appears to have no baby bump at all, although a selfie on the day she delivered shows a slightly curved abdomen.
The mum joked: “Well that was a flop! I must have left my pregnancy belly at home.”
Since it was uploaded on Tuesday (February 1) the video has been “liked” more than half a million times and many viewers were astounded by the lack of a baby bump.
One person commented, “That’s not possible! How? Was the baby tiny?” while another asked, “How big was bubs when born? That’s incredible. I looked like I had a massive ball up my top.”
A third user said: “I’m not pregnant and look more pregnant than you did on delivery day.”
Someone else shared: “This is the reason why I always think I’m pregnant even though I have my period.”
“Maybe my paranoia of doing pregnancy tests every month on birth control is not so bad,” agreed another user.
The mum said it wasn’t all a laugh because she had severe back pain as a result of the baby being near her spine and medics kept getting confused with how far along she was.
She said: “I was questioned at every appointment. I always had to justify my due date.”
This comes after a woman went to the hospital with suspected kidney stones only to discover she was giving birth after having no clue she’d been pregnant for nine months.
Meanwhile, another expectant mum had the opposite problem with a bump so huge people thought she had eight babies inside her.
