Meghan Markle and Harry moved to Canada for a brief period late last year after announcing they were stepping down as senior royals, and it seems that country has left a lasting impression on the former Duke of Sussex. Since the couple recently moved to Los Angeles there have been reports that Harry has been “struggling” and now the Sun has claimed that he misses Canada.
A source told the newspaper: “Harry absolutely loved life in Canada and has made no secret of how much he misses life there.
“The time that he spent there with Meghan and Archie is probably the happiest he has ever been.
“Harry misses the pace of life there and the fact they were living in a really secluded place where they could be themselves, relax and enjoy life.”
It has been claimed that Meghan and Harry decided to move to Los Angeles, after they were nervous that a long lockdown could prevent them from moving.
However, the transition to Los Angeles life in lockdown has been difficult for Harry who has struggled to settle in.
The source added: “The biggest issue really has been the timing. Moving at the moment is incredibly difficult.
“Harry and Meghan have uprooted their life and have been unable to properly immerse themselves into LA life and get settled.

The couple’s escape to the United States was most likely an easy decision, as Meghan holds a visa in the country and would be able to work and be near family.
“Meghan is an American she can always work here in the US without needing papers to do so; and her mother, Doria Ragland, lives in Los Angeles, so Archie will get to know his maternal grandmother, which is also a lovely plus.” Ms Carroll added.
But seeing her mother Doria may have been tricky recently due to self-isolation measures in the US due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Although the two only live ten miles apart now in Los Angeles, due to the coronavirus pandemic the pair have been unable to meet, leading Meghan to feel “blue” while she self isolates, according to a report on Yahoo.
Doria, who falls into the category of people who may fall susceptible to the virus, means that Meghan must ensure to adhere to the government guidelines.
A source told the Sun: “Meghan is absolutely heartbroken—after all, one of the main reasons she decided to live in LA was to be near her mum.
“Because of her age, Doria obviously has to be careful and Meghan and Harry are sticking rigidly to all formal guidelines when it comes to coronavirus.
The couple has recently revealed their plans to start a charitable organisation titled “Archewell” as they plan to take on philanthropic endeavours.
The Telegraph reported that the Sussexes have said they want to do “something of meaning, to do something that matters.”
In the US, the couple had paperwork filed that show how the Duchess and Duke want to have their own charity, that incorporates a website and sharing “education and training materials.”
This trademark request will include books, films and podcasts in line with their rebrand, but it will also cover stranger items such as paperclips, as the couple take their brand further than before.
