The late great Prince’s female white dove Divinity passed away, age 28, on Tuesday ‘following a recent decline in health due to age.’
‘Divinity’s beautiful coo has welcomed visitors since Paisley Park first opened its gates to the public in October 2016,’ Paisley Park executive director Alan Seiffert said in a statement.
‘She was one of the enduring links to Prince for thousands of fans. She will be missed.’

The seven-time Grammy winner once gave Divinity and her brother Majesty – who passed away in 2017 – album credit for ‘ambient singing’ on his 2002 track, Arboretum.
Fans might recall how several white doves appeared in the music video Prince directed for his Purple Rain hit song, When Doves Cry, back in 1984.
And in the Prince & The New Power Generation’s 1992 music video for 7, his ex-wife Mayte Garcia gave a white dove a kiss.
Fans can still visit the Purple One’s younger generation of doves when they tour his 65K-square-foot complex that sits on roughly nine acres of land in Chanhassen, MN.

There are three tiers of guided tours at 7801 Audubon Road – the three-hour Ultimate Experience for $160, the 100-minute VIP Experience for $85, and the 70-minute Paisley Experience for $45.

The Oscar winning-songwriter’s estate has since released two posthumous albums – Piano and a Microphone 1983 in 2018 and Originals in 2019.
