Storyline
The story follows Subaru Nagatsuki, a NEET from Japan, who is transported to a medieval fantasy world. Subaru discovers that he gains the ability to rewind time upon death. This power, which he calls “Return by Death,” allows him to change outcomes, although it comes at significant personal cost.
Subaru meets Emilia, a candidate for the kingdom’s throne, and vows to support her. The anime’s events are drawn from the web novel of the same name, which has reached its ninth arc and is planned to conclude at arc 12.
