RIDE!, a prominent force in satellite mission management, celebrates its successful Deep Blue RIDE! mission, marking the company’s fourth major deployment and the first of 2025. Launched on January 14 aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket through the Transporter-12 rideshare program, Deep Blue RIDE! carried 130 payloads, including a satellite for RIDE!’s longtime partner, SatRev.
This accomplishment is the product of rigorous coordination among RIDE!, SatRev, and Impulse Space. The process began in mid-November 2024 when SatRev’s 6U-XL satellite was transported from Europe to Los Angeles for critical assembly. During this phase, specialists paired the satellite with the Exopod deployer, working alongside Exolaunch, and then integrated it onto Impulse Space’s Mira vehicle. After completion of these steps, the payload journeyed to Vandenberg, California, for its highly anticipated liftoff.
At precisely 11:09 a.m. PT, Falcon 9 soared into the California sky, placing Deep Blue RIDE! safely in orbit. This achievement underlines RIDE!’s dedication to delivering comprehensive launch services and reaffirms the company’s expertise in guiding clients from initial planning through final deployment. By demonstrating seamless collaboration and technical precision, RIDE! has once again showcased its role as a top choice for satellite operators worldwide.
Beyond the excitement of mission success, Deep Blue RIDE! is notable for its distinct focus on environmental observation. The mission patch, revealed on launch day, takes stylistic cues from the classic sci-fi film Deep Blue Sea, with imagery of a satellite circling Earth’s oceans to illustrate the mission’s emphasis on preserving marine habitats. This visual metaphor underscores RIDE!’s broader commitment to leveraging space technology for planetary welfare.
RIDE!’s mission management specialists dedicated themselves to ensuring SatRev’s satellite was integrated and deployed smoothly. Their skillful handling of every detail – from scheduling to final checks – was critical in achieving a flawless launch. This level of precision continues to define RIDE!’s reputation for excellence in satellite launch services.
Looking ahead, RIDE! envisions a vibrant 2025 as it broadens its offerings and streamlines processes to accommodate a growing roster of missions. “This is just the beginning,” said RIDE!’s CEO. “We have exciting missions on the horizon, and we are committed to delivering the same high standard of service that our clients have come to expect from us.”
As the company prepares for future rideshare opportunities on SpaceX flights, it welcomes inquiries from satellite operators seeking a proven launch partner. Building on its strong legacy of success, RIDE! stands ready to guide the next generation of payloads into orbit with efficiency and reliability.
