60 boxes of food were distributed
VICTORIA, Texas—The Salvation Army of Victoria had a food distribution today.
Even before the distribution started at 10:00 a.m., there was a line of about 30 people waiting outside the Salvation Army of Victoria Family Store at 4303 North Navarro. Salvation Army of Victoria commanding officer Captain Kenny Jones told me they gave out 60 boxes of food. The boxes contained produce, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions and carrots. Captain Kenny said the Salvation Army is happy to share food to our friends anytime it becomes possible, and he said they do plan another food distribution event in the near future.
