Satcube has unveiled upgraded government satellite communication terminals, designed to enhance security and undetectability for mission-critical operations. These latest innovations bring advanced features to the widely used Satcube Ku and Secure terminals, enabling seamless, high-speed broadband connectivity in under a minute.
The user-friendly interface remains intuitive, employing the proprietary 3D “point-and-locate” function for rapid network access. However, the newest updates introduce a “dark mode” option, significantly reducing screen brightness and shifting colors from white to dark green to minimize visibility.
Additionally, transmission LEDs on the antenna will remain off, further enhancing operational discretion. To match diverse operational environments, Satcube now offers the terminals in two new colors: Moss and Sand, which will be fully available starting February 2025.
Security enhancements include Screen and PIN locks, as well as improved beam-selection functionality. Users can opt to turn off the screen manually or after a preset time interval. When combined with the PIN lock feature, access is further secured, requiring authentication before resuming operations.
In addition to software advancements, Satcube has upgraded the hardware components of the terminals. The latest models now feature an improved elevation wheel, paracord reinforcements, and an expanded temperature tolerance range, operating reliably from -35C to +60C.
“Thanks to our upgraded terminals and network expertise, we are better equipped than ever to help our government users secure their satellite communications needs,” stated Robert Mellberg, Satcube’s Chief Commercial Officer. “We look forward to introducing all these new solutions to our users, customers, and partners!”
