Meanwhile, United International Holding (TADAWUL:) added 7.97% or 13.80 points to end at 187.00 and Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was up 4.38% or 0.48 points to 11.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 5.56% or 0.86 points to trade at 14.60 at the close. Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 4.05% or 6.60 points to end at 156.20 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:) was down 3.50% or 1.55 points to 42.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 157 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.80% or 1.36 to $77.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.87% or 1.49 to hit $81.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 23.81 to trade at $2,691.19 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.43% to 3.83, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 109.79.
