After a beautiful and seasonable Monday an Arctic cold front will send lots of clouds our way overnight and Tuesday with scattered flurries and snow squalls along with a gusty wind too! Another quick-moving front follows Tuesday overnight into Wednesday with a coating to 2 inches of snow with potentially slippery conditions for the Wednesday AM commute, then milder again near 40 degrees Wednesday afternoon. Another polar punch for Thursday with highs in the upper teens to mid-20s !! Back near 40 degrees on Friday with some rain/mix in the afternoon. The storm track looks to be just to our south for the weekend, but we need to watch it closely this week!
Tonight: Late clouds move in & a scattered snow shower is possible, windy all night. A dusting in a few places possible. Gusts 20-35 mph.
Tuesday: Clouds & a few snow showers or a snow squall possible during the morning with a coating in some towns. Highs in the 30s & windy late morning then temps falling in the afternoon.
Wednesday: Inland school delays? Light snow & snow showers for the early morning with a dusting to 2″ of accumulation possible. A rain or snow shower later in the afternoon, some sun too and milder. Highs in the low-mid 40s.
Thursday: Bright, windy & colder. Highs in the upper teens to mid 20s. Wind chill all day in the teens and single digits!
Friday: Watching closely! Snow & rain very close with a system just to our south. Highs in the mid and upper 30s.
Saturday: Partly sunny with highs in the low to mid 30s.
Sunday Groundhog Day: An early shadow possible. Sun to pm clouds with light snow possibly developing. Highs in the low and mid 30s.
Monday: Lots of clouds and a shower or flurry possible. Highs 40-45.
