A sexpert has revealed one big reason why women may find it hard to orgasm.
Reaching orgasm happens more frequently for some than others. However research has found that women have fewer, less predictable, and more varied orgasm experiences than men.
But what can women do to increase their chances?
Sex and relationship expert Annabelle Knight said some women are making a big mistake when it comes to sex – they’re not warm enough.
Giving her sex tip to Daily Star at a Lovehoney event this week, Annabelle said: “The link between female orgasm and being warm is quite high.
“So if you are cold and you are trying to orgasm, your mind will focus on the negative part of the experience, which is the being cold.”

She added: “You can try as much as you like to override that, but if you’re uncomfortable, you’re not fully relaxed.
“That’s why making sure you’re completely comfortable is a really important part of being able to orgasm.
“That means being at a good temperature for you.”
But how can this be solved when sex usually requires some form of nakedness?
For one, we would recommend turning your heating up, but Annabelle also suggested women may want to wear bodystockings in the bedroom – or even keep their socks on.

She continued: “People with vulvas seem to have colder extremities, so bodystockings or even gloves and socks might mean you can orgasm quicker or better or harder.”
Considering socks and gloves may not be the sexiest items to wear in bed, Annabelle spoke more to us about her love of bodystockings.
She gushed: “I love bodystockings because while they do show a bit of skin they also are quite covered, so if you’re not used to the level of nakedness that a lot of lingerie provides, they’re perfect.
“Maybe you want to feel sexy but you don’t want to be really naked, a bodystocking is great because it’s covered yet it’s also tantalising and teasing when it comes to the amount of flesh.”
Lovehoney lingerie expert and designer Heather Mercer also added: “Bodystockings are really good as you don’t have to fiddle around with suspenders, they’re the easy option.
“On Lovehoney they’re probably one of our most popular styles.”
