Everyone knows there is nothing worse than going on a shopping trip and not finding anything to fit you.
However, one woman was left fuming after she couldn’t find a single item of clothing to fit her after visiting high street favourites Primark, Zara and H&M.
Ash, who is a size 16/18, took to TikTok to share her shopping woes in a video which had the caption ‘High street shops are king of the pretenders FYI…I’m a uk size 16/18!!! None of your clothes FIT!’
The brunette, who goes by the TikTok username @ashandchelslifestories, said during the clip: “I went shopping yesterday and do you know what I bought?
“Not a thing.
“Let me tell you for why.
“Zara, River Island, H&M, Primark, Mango – you’re all p*ssing me off.
“You’re all getting on my last f*cking nerve and let me tell you for why.
“Stop pretending that you’re inclusive and just with your big chests say that you hate fat girls.
“JUST SAY IT!
“I’m sick of going into Zara and picking up an XXL, an XXL, an extra extra large and it is the same size as one of my arms.
“One of my arms!
“What am I supposed to do, buy 15 black satin dresses to find one outfit?
“Sew them all together to get enough material?
“You’re getting on my nerves!
“And Fat Face…don’t even get me started on Fat Face.
“How dare you call your shop Fat Face but nobody with a fat face can shop in there.”
Since the video was last week, it has gone viral after racking up more than 1.1million views and thousands of comments.
Many fellow social media users agreed they also struggled to find clothing to fit them on the high street.
One said: “What I hate is cropped or skin tight! Like I’m not comfy in either of those as a curvy gal and it’s so hard to find a nice normal top!”
While another added: “It’s why most of my clothes are M&S…the only thing that fits me in Zara is perfume.”
A third chimed in: “Louder please because this is my daily problem.”
While a fourth wrote: “10000% agree. It’s so upsetting.”
Daily Star has contacted retailers mentioned in the video for comment.
