Sofia Richie pays homage to famous father Lionel by wearing Christmas sweater with his likeness while out shopping with beau Elliot Grainge
Lionel Richie’s a legendary singer-songwriter as a member of influential funk and soul band the Commodores, and as a solo artist who regularly had songs hit the Top 10 throughout the 1980s.
And on Monday his youngest of three children, Sofia Richie, paid tribute to her father’s artistry by wearing a sweater with his image on front of it while out shopping with boyfriend Elliot Grainge.
It read, ‘Sleigh You, Sleigh Me,’ across the top and bottom of the sweater, in a play on words with his hit song, Say You, Say Me, that topped the U.S. charts in 1985.

Sofia, 23, decided to keep it casual-cool in the fashion department by matching her sweater with black leggings and a pair black sneakers.
With COVID-19 still posing a danger, she donned a black protective mask over her mouth and nose while in the public.
She rounded out her overall look by pulling her long dirty-blonde tresses back off her face and into a ponytail.
The model and entrepreneur enjoyed an afternoon of shopping with Grainge
Spotted walking back towards their parked vehicle, the model and entrepreneur lead the way with Grainge following close behind dressed in black sweatpants with a gray sweater and black vest.
He also sported black running sneakers, a baseball cap, and a face mask amid the new coronavirus variant.
Having been dating for about eight months, this will be the first Christmas the pair will share together as a couple.

While out and about, Sofia also posted a selfie photo of herself wearing a red sweatshirt with her father’s image on it.
‘I’m not saying this is what we’re wearing for our family Christmas photo… but I’m not NOT saying it,’ she wrote in the caption.
Lionel Richie first hit the charts in the music industry with the Commodores in the 1970s with such classic songs as Easy, Brick House, Sail On and Three Times A Lady.
After leaving the band to go solo in 1982, he would delivery a string of hits with the likes of Endless Love, Truly, You Are, My Love, All Night Long (All Night), Running With The Night, Hello, Stuck On You, and Dancing on the Ceiling, among others.
