ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee opened stronger at 291.00/15 to the US dollar on Tuesday from 291.25/35 to the US dollar on Monday dealers said, while bond yields were down.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2027 was quoted at 10.85/90 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 was quoted at 11.07/15 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.10.2028 was quoted at 11.15/20 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 was quoted at 11.30/40 percent, down from 11.35/50 percent.
In equities, the All Share Price Index opened up 0.11 percent or 14.74 points, at 12,881. The more liquid S&P SL20 opened up 0.56 percent, or 21.32 points, at 3,816.
