Stacey Solomon is one savvy spender.
And over the weekend the Loose Women presenter, 31, shared with her Instagram fans how she decorated her youngest son Rex’s bedroom in the families new home with a few handy DIY hacks.
Proving that the wealthy star knows how to bag a bargain, she showed off the results of her day of painting and proudly told her fans how the supplies she used – including paint, tape and stickers – totted up to around £50.
Stacey decided to select a black, white and grey theme for the little boy’s bedroom which featured cute animal details and star-shaped light fittings.
The creative personality revealed the results online alongside the prices of all the items she purchased to transform the space into an oasis for Rex – who she shares with fiance Joe Swash.
She shared a snap of the bedroom and listed that she bought the majority of the things she used from online retailer Amazon.
Sharing her tips and tricks, she uploaded a photo of Rex playing in the newly revamped space and typed: “Where is it from?
“Wall stickers Amazon on baby Ryro London Store £9.99 for a pack of 46 stickers
“Panda Shelf Amazon I paid £16.99 from a shop on their called Home Zone Store.
“Star lights Amazon again 0 they were 9.99 from a scope from called POHOVE and they called an infinity mirror tunnel light.
“Great paints light grey is @frenchie paint Al Fresco – City Slicker – beautiful colour and amazing coverage.
“Dark grey is some left over black I had missed with a bit of white.”
As the Frenchie paint costs £15.45 it means that the grand total of the bedroom makeover was £52.42.
Earlier this year, Stacey and Joe managed to find their dream home and have now settled down in the property they’ve named Pickle Cottage.
As well as a stunning pool, the property also boasts its own hot tub but there is lots of work that needs to be done in order to create their perfect home.
Stacey has been busying sharing renovation updates with her followers and never fails to impress her loyal fans with her home hacks and crafty creations.
