Stacey Solomon is usually one savvy DIYer.
But on Saturday, the Loose Women star, 31, revealed that she made a huge error when ordering a tool to help her revamp the cupboards in her new home – which she is currently renovating after moving in last month.
The former X Factor musician began her day by successfully sorting out her linen cupboard filled with all her essential bathroom bits and pieces – such as flannels, towels and toilet rolls – placed in wicker baskets
Taking to her stories to update fans and showcase the results of her handiwork, she then told how she had planned to sand down the brown wooden cupboard doors in the room she was working on and shared and that she was hoping to house all her bath salts, liquids and bath bombs- which she calls ‘thrush bits’ – inside.
However, the social media favourite soon urged her fans for “help” when she pulled out the tool – she was hoping to help her – from its delivery box.
As she held up the contraption to the camera, Stacey said: “Send help, I brought myself a sandblaster, as I was going to bring up these cupboards for all my thrush bits.”
She then showed how the tool had no wires, plugs or tubes to connect to power as she added: “But am I missing a tube or something – how does this work? The instructions are not very helpful!”
Stacey then joked that the instructions were no help as they were penned in another language.
Before long, one of Stacey’s loyal fans reached out to her to let her know what went wrong.
Alongside a video of her playing with son Rex, Stacey shared a screenshot of a message from a fan who told her she needed to order an additional part.
The message read: “I think you bought one that needs to be attached to a compressor you do make my day Stacey haha love ya xxx.”
Stacey saw the funny side, as she told her followers: “Just ordering the part I clearly thought would come with the gun for £11.99 while I play peekaboo at the supermarket with this one I love you guys sometimes I don’t know what’s wrong with my brain.”
Last month, Stacey revealed that she and husband-to-be Joe Swash purchased their dream home – which they have named Pickle Cottage.
As well as a stunning pool, the property also boasts its own hot tub.
The sprawling property needs some work done in order to create the couples perfect home and they are happily renovating the abode.
