Strictly Come Dancing hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly led the style today as the show kicked off with a red carpet launch in London. Tess, 50, looked glamorous in an asymmetrical green, velvet split dress. The mum-of-two – Phoebe Elizabeth, and Amber Isabella – teamed the look with a pair of embellished silver Christian Louboutin heels, which accentuated her long legs. She wore her blonde locks in a soft wave with her trade mark middle parting, and rocked green eye shadow to compliment the plush gown. Meanwhile, Claudia looked super glam in sparkling red power suit.
The 47-year-old teamed the oversized suit with a pair of bright pink shoes.
She wore her hair in her trademark style, with her thick bangs combed over her forehead, and sported her iconic dark eye make up.
It comes after the duo stepped out for the rehearsals in more toned down looks.
Tess opted for an off-the-shoulder polka dot dress, while Claudia sported an oversized jumper dress.
Shading her eyes from the sun, Tess wore a pair of oversized white rimmed sunglasses.
She teamed the gorgeous flow dress with a pair of patent heel and kept her make up natural, rocking a bright pink lip.
Meanwhile, Claudia opted for a more relaxed look, rocking an oversized black, knitted dress, which fell to just above her knees.
She paired the jumper dress with a pair of backless flat shoes.
Claudia accessorised her look with gold bracelets and a pair of dark shades.
Following the launch, Claudia seemed to mock her choice of outfit, as she wrote on her Instagram story alongside the image of her and Tess: “I’m wearing a sweater @bbcstrictly I don’t really know what to say about that.”
The show launch certainly got to an eventful start.
Shirley Ballas suffered an epic wardrobe malfunction when she accidentally flashed her knickers on the red carpet.
The 58-year-old looked gorgeous in a blue and white corset-style gown as she arrived at the London centre.
As she made her way across the outdoor stage, she could be seen hitching up the floor-length skirt.
Shirley put her shapely pins on full display, elongating them further in a pair of strappy stilettos.
However, she just so happened to flash her knickers at the same time.
Bruno, meanwhile, looked concerned for his co-star as he was captured staring at her bottom half, appearing to be worried she might suffer a fashion faux pas.
