TEMPLEGATE is ready to get stuck into a super Saturday of racing and he fancies one to do the business in the big Gold Cup trial at Sandown.
Here he goes through each race for Saturday, revealing his top tips.
SANTINI (2.20 Sandown, nap)
He won this last year en route to his Cheltenham Gold Cup second and can match that effort.
He is being aimed at the big race again and it was a surprise to see him run in the King George at Kempton.
The speed track there isn’t ideal and he’ll appreciate this test much more.
He has winning form at Sandown and testing ground suits so he looks the one to beat.

He is already a superstar thanks to his impressive Grade 1 success in the Kauto Star at Kempton.

He is progressing with every run and can take another step forward here.
LE BREUIL (3.45 Musselburgh, treble)
He was a good third in the Warwick Classic last time and sets the standard.
He’s a proven stayer who goes on testing ground and the handicapper has left his mark alone.
