Batman’s second part delayed by a year, making things complicated for Robert Pattinson
Going to be directed by Matt Reeves, the production of the film has not begun yet, and even though there was a release window in the last half of 2026, WB did not want to run the risk and pushed it a whole year to the nearing end of 2027.
The initial part of the film was a major breather and was one of the first few films to be release in the post-Covid period, making it an instant hit. Applauded by viewers across the globe, the film now remains in the Warner Bros’ shelves for one of the most successful Caped Crusader movies yet.
Batman Part II to receive Imax screens in US?
The delay of the sequel for one more year actually makes it half a decade gap between the first film of the franchise and the sequel. However, it is expected that Pattinson may make up for all this lost time through his mesmerizing performance on screens. Like the previous edition of the Batman franchise, Batman 2 will also be receiving Imax screens.
