First record of Euryopis scriptipes Banks, 1908 (Araneae: Theridiidae) for Hidalgo, Mexico whit data about his distribution in North America
ABSTRACT
Worldwide, the genus Euryopis has 81 species, its distribution is known to be cosmopolitan, 23 species of the genus are currently known in North America. This work
records Euryopis scriptipes for the first time based of the review of a male and female
for the state of Hidalgo, Mexico, as well providing data on its current distribution
in North America. This new record expands the distribution of E. scriptipes in this
biogeographical region.
