On Friday, the Israeli government’s hostages and missing persons coordination unit contacted the families of the 33 Israeli hostages who are expected to be set free in the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal, The Times of Israel is reporting.
Those on the list range in age from two years old to 86 years old, and have been classified as “humanitarian” cases, which includes women, children, the elderly and the sick. They are to be returned over a six-week period after the ceasefire takes effect, which is expected to be Sunday.

The Times says that Israel has not been told how many of the 33 are still alive, though it expects the majority are. It says the government will receive a full status report on all those on the list one week into the ceasefire.
The order of release is also not known, but the schedule calls for three hostages to be returned on the first day of the ceasefire, four on the seventh day, three more each week for the next four weeks, and the final 14 during the sixth week.

The ceasefire would then go in effect at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, with the first three hostages, all women, to be freed around 4 p.m. Their names were slated to be revealed Saturday afternoon by Hamas, 24 hours before their release.
