The official Instagram account of the production company announced that the highly anticipated third season of the popular Egyptian series “Mawdoa Aeli” (Family Affair) will be released on December 26th.
Directed by Ahmed El-Jindy, the series stars a talented cast including Majed El-Kedwany, Mohamed Rizwan, Sama Ibrahim, Taha Desouky, and Rana Raees.
The new season will also feature the addition of renowned actress Rania Youssef to the cast, following the appearance of Lebanese actress Nour in the second season.
The second season, which aired in December 2022, was a massive success. The social comedy series revolves around the character of “Chef Ibrahim,” portrayed by Majed El-Kedwany, who suffers from memory loss. His daughter, “Sara” (played by Rana Raees), returns from abroad to take care of him.
The series also explored a romantic storyline between “Ibrahim” and “Maryam” (played by Nour), culminating in their marriage and the birth of a child.
