In this episode, Dave Eicher invites you to go out and watch the Full Moon pass in front of the Red Planet. Astronomers call such an event an occultation. Pretty much anyone in the continental U.S. with a clear sky will be able to see this rare happening. The next time residents of the U.S. will see the Moon occult Mars won’t be until 2035.
