Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs after a 17-year-old boy was found dead in a car park.
The boy was taken in an ambulance to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police confirmed they had responded to a call at around 1.45am yesterday in Newton Abbot, Devon.
A 16-year-old girl and two boys, 17 and 18, were then detained on suspicion of supplying drugs.
They remain in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Alexandra Doughty said: ‘This is a very sad incident and my thoughts are firmly with the family of this young man.

‘The Local Investigation Team, Public Protection Unit and Neighbourhood Policing Team are now working to establish the cause of his death.
‘Officers remain at the scene this afternoon and a scene guard is in place whilst enquiries are ongoing.’
