Mum reveals reason for bold eyebrows
Speaking to The Daily Star, the TikTok personality opened up about the reason behind painting her eyebrows in that particular size and shape, revealing that she’s been trolled for her look.
“People have said I shouldn’t be a mum and they are going to ring social services because of my eyebrows,” she told the outlet. “It gets really extreme on the internet. They can call social services because I have nothing to hide. My eyebrows don’t determine whether I’m a good mother or not.”
She continued: “I just like to make a statement and the brows do that for me. They started off normal size and they just got bigger over time and I just like to look different.
“It would be cool if they were Britain’s biggest eyebrows. I’ve now created a hashtag called ‘bigger the brow bigger, the boy’ because it’s true and that’s what I say to my friends.”
Sammie-Jo revealed that the worst comments she’d received have been from online users but she added that she hopes her videos help others to be confident with their personal look.
Following her interview, some of her followers flocked to the comment section of her latest video and shared their reactions.
“Your amazing beauty,” commented one person. “I’ve seen your article about the trolls don’t listen to them.”
“I can’t believe what people are saying about you,” said someone else. “I respect you you are a good person.”
“You have gone viral in the papers,” added another one. “Keep going hun, don’t change for anyone.”
