Many people find internet dating tricky to get the hang on.
However, one lad who seems to have it sussed is YouTuber James Langton.
James, who runs the Dater Help YouTube channel, is on Tinder’s official top 30 list of ‘most swiped right’.
And now he’s sharing some of his top tips for Tinder success with his fellow daters.
James took part in a Reddit Ask Me Anything where, he was asked how he gets so many matches.
And he decided to reveal all, commenting: “I think it’s a mixture of everything, but having photos that portray a story and a bio that’s informative with a clear ‘call to action’ (reason why someone should match and speak to me).”
So according to James, if you want more matches you need to get yourself some photos that tell a bit of a story about you.
Maybe you should tae another look at your bio too to make sure it’s ‘calling out’ to potential dates.
James also went on to say that he isn’t rich and that he doesn’t mention his job or financial status anywhere on his profile.
The social media star has shared more dating tips on his YouTube channel – in a recent video title How to use Tinder in 2021 – 7 Tips – By most ‘Right-Swiped’ Male’.
He recommends using Tinder on desktop rather than through the app as this will reportedly boost your rankings.
James also suggests making sure your profile is actually complete, with links to your social media channels.
He also said you should switch on ‘recently active’ so that other Tinder users will see that you’ve been online and are more likely to swipe right knowing that you’ll be around to have a conversation.
It’s no surprise given his popularity on Tinder that James is a big fan of online dating.
In an interview with the Leicester Mercury from 2019, he said: “I actually think Tinder is amazing.
“One of the best things is that you know that both of you find each other attractive.
“Without that, that feeling of not knowing whether someone likes you too can be difficult, it’s a bit of a minefield.”

However, when it comes to his matches, James admits he’s ‘pretty selective’.
Answering a question on Reddit about what makes him swipe right, James explained: “I’ll only match with someone if they meet the criteria of ‘Would I be happy to be sat opposite this person in a bar?’ If the answer is yes, I’ll right swipe!”
James’ tips come after a model recently campaigned for Tinder to add a ‘vaccinated’ requirement to the app.
Brazilian model Letícia Andrade wants it added amid the coronavirus pandemic so that it’s ‘safer’ to date.
She also suggested having a section where people can say whether they’ve tested positive or not for Covid on the dating app.
