Titanfall 3 has been rumoured to be in development for what feels like some time now, but its becoming clear that any of those rumours, even recent ones are just not true, as Respawn has once again come out and denied that they are working on Titanfall 3 in any way.
The news comes from website Dexerto, which reports that Respawn community coordinator Jason Garza when asked about Titanfall 3 in a livestream said “Don’t get your hopes up, man. I’ve said this before. We don’t have anything in the works. There’s nothing. There’s nothing there. We’ve got too many other games in the works right now.”
It’s definitely disappointing for Titanfall fans to hear this news each time Respawn reiterates it, but hopefully somewhere on a whiteboard somewhere in the Respawn offices that Titanfall 3 is listed as a project they’ll get whenever they decide to in the future.
Because considering Garza’s answer, he’s right. Respawn is arguably EA’s best studio right now, with the follow up to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in development now and Apex Legends constantly on the go and constantly improving, its easy to see why Respawn’s time is split away from things like Titanfall 3.
