Hungry Tom Cruise wolfed down the same curry one after another as locals in Birmingham had absolutely no idea they were dining with a movie megastar.
The tiny 59-year-old clearly has a big appetite as paid a visit to one of the city’s top curry houses over the weekend – and certainly got his fill.
He stayed for two hours almost unnoticed and told the owners he didn’t want any special treatment or any fuss to be made.
The Hollywood actor is in the Midlands filming the seventh instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise.
He stepped out with pals and director Christopher McQuarrie and popular Asha’s.
The star loved the chicken tikka masala so much that he ordered a second one as they all tucked in.
After his meal out, the restaurant’s owners took to social media to tell the world Tom had been in, sharing a photo of the team with move great outside.
“It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Tom Cruise to Asha’s Birmingham yesterday evening,” the tweet read.
“Tom ordered our famous Chicken Tikka Masala and enjoyed it so much that as soon as he had finished, he ordered it all over again – The greatest compliment.”
The dish costs £19.45 and is described as: “Tandoori chicken tikka cooked to perfection in chunky tomato and onion gravy.”

The meal was so low key that few inside recognised him and most were unaware they were dining so close to Hollywood royalty.
General manager Nouman Farooqui also told BirminghamLive how the actor even requested for the meals to have extra spices – and told how he wanted to keep a low profile.
He said: “Tom arrived at 6pm and the picture was taken on my folding Samsung phone by one of his security team at 8.10pm as he was leaving.
“When he came he said he didn’t want any fuss and just wanted to be part of the atmosphere.
“He wanted a meal just like any other guest and simply wanted to enjoy an authentic Indian meal.
“A few diners recognised him but not all. Nobody made a fuss, though when he left people went a little bit crazy.
“He agreed to have his picture taken outside in a socially-distanced way and had his mask on for the first picture.
“He then took his mask off and said: ‘Take another one’.”
Tom is currently filming Mission: Impossible 7 and has been keen to keep things moving on set after a string of delays.
A source told The Sun : “Mission: Impossible has been hit by so many delays, there is now a huge pressure to finish on time.
“Tom and the team are tearing their hair out. Some of the crew are agency contractors and are already booked to move on to new projects. Without them, Tom will be left scratching around for replacements.
