TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou has welcomed her first child with partner Tommy Mallett.
The Essex native announced the new arrival on her Instagram page on Friday and shared that the proud parents decided to name their newborn son Brody.
Alongside a capture taken in hospital, she penned: “Introducing you .. Brody Fordham.
“05.05.21 weighing 8lb 9
“We are so in love.”
Doting new dad Tommy also shared the same post via his social media account and shared his joy as he penned: “Meet Brody Fordham he’s 8lb 9oz & was born on 05/05/21 at 12.16pm… @georgiakousoulou is very well & so is he.”
Georgia and Tommy, who have been together for six years, shared they were expecting a baby in December.
They both posted the same picture of themselves with Tommy, 28, holding up a baby scan photo and Georgia, 29, cuddling their dog.
She captioned the photo: “WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!! MAY 2021.
“We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives, such lovely news to end this crazy year! Let the next chapter begin…”
Scenes then aired on TOWIE showing them announced their news to their nearest and dearest.
Georgia recently revealed that she will no longer be on TOWIE as she plans to dedicate herself to being a mum.
She said on her Stories: “I’ve finished filming TOWIE. It’s all happening now, it all feels very real.
“I’m not going to lie, it was a very emotional day for me.
“I know I’m not leaving for good, but it is gonna be different. Life as I know it is changing.”
Georgia admitted she will return to the reality show at some point, but she will never have the same “carefree” attitude she used to have.
“I don’t think I’m going to be a full-time cast member anymore that is just carefree, does what she wants. I’m going to have a little bubba to add into the equation,” the star continued.
“It has been amazing, but next chapter, end of an era.
“Don’t worry TOWIE fans, I will be back with the baby.
“I’m excited – who knows what it’s going to bring or what’s going to happen.
She concluded: “It’s like, I think I’m ready. I’m transitioning, I’m gonna be a mum. I feel like I’ve just realised that just before my due date. Not just a dog mum, a mum.”
