Trump’s Presidency sees new lows
This six-day poll saw a one per cent drop in Trump’s approval ratings as compared to the previous survey, with the belief that the US economy is on the wrong track currently being one of the primary contributors. The share of Americans who are currently disapproving Trump’s Presidency has significantly risen to 51 per cent in this latest poll, as compared to the 41 per cent which was the figure when he first took oath as US President.
Around the topic of inflation, just 32 per cent of Americans are happy about how the US President has handled things which is a major sign of early disappointment for the Republican’s performance in terms of key economic issues. Meanwhile, a similar thing was observed in the case of tariff implementation as fifty-four per cent of respondents in the Reuters/Ipsos poll said that they opposed new tariffs on imported goods, which is a startling figure.
