ANDY MYLER did not care who UCD would face in the promotion-relegation play-off — he is just happy to be there.
Brilliant goals from in-demand striker Colm Whelan and Paul Doyle eased UCD past Bray Wanderers in Friday’s First Division play-off final at Dalymount Park.
They now meet Waterford at Richmond Park next Friday to decide where they both will play next season.
College gaffer Myler said: “I only had one preference and that was us being in the game next week. Honestly, I didn’t mind who it was against as that was completely out of your hands.
“We just need to get back on the horse, start prepping and watching videos.”
The sides have already met this season when Waterford twice came from behind to beat UCD 3-2 in a cracking FAI Cup quarter-final at the UCD Bowl back in September.
But Myler did not bite when asked if UCD have a score to settle with the Blues as well.
He said: “We’ve only one reason to want to beat them and that’s to get into the Premier Division.

“They’re a really good side with many good attacking players with a lot of goals in their team.
“We’ve done a bit of work on Waterford already and they’ve done their work on us.
“It’s a completely one-off situation now next week with a lot more money on the table as such.
“We need to prepare properly and ensure we get the same performance levels that we got at Dalymount Park on Friday night.
“We’ll take what comes after that.”
