MET OFFERS LONG-RANGE VERDICT ON WHITE XMAS
Brits could be treated to a White Christmas, according to the Met Office’s long-term predictions.
Every day, the weather organisation publishes a forecast for the following four weeks.
The latest update runs until December 29 and it looks set to be characterised by outbreaks of rain and showers.
Snowfall remains likely over hills but could still fall to lower levels at times.
Settled conditions could bring widespread overnight frosts along with fog patches.
And, temperatures are likely to be near, or a little below average for December.
