Guys need your help,under contract , inspection done, no major issues , house requires updates to our taste about 70k work. 20k emd, no other contingency left. Today I was just browsing through the town website and found that fema did a study on town and part of the property will be in zone A if finalized and the appeal window was over on 06/30/2021. I am worrying about flooding,requiring flood insurance to low resale value. I will loose my sleep over this, am I over reacting now, what are my options? Also Redfin and Realtor shows a flood factor on 6.9, fema website yet to map the area.
