As of Sunday, the Egyptian Pound has maintained its stability against the US Dollar at the beginning of banking transactions.
The dollar’s buying and selling prices remained relatively unchanged at several major banks.
The Central Bank of Egypt recorded a buying price of 49.60 EGP and a selling price of 49.74 EGP. Similarly, Bank Misr reported a buying price of 49.62 EGP and a selling price of 49.72 EGP, while the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) recorded the same rates.
The United Bank saw a slight decrease, with a buying price of 49.62 EGP and a selling price of 49.72 EGP, compared to 49.63 EGP and 49.73 EGP respectively on the previous day. The Commercial International Bank (CIB) also recorded a buying price of 49.62 EGP and a selling price of 49.72 EGP.
Moreover, the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank experienced a decrease, with a buying price of 49.65 EGP and a selling price of 49.74 EGP, down from 49.84 EGP and 49.94 EGP on the previous day.
The Suez Canal Bank maintained its rates at 49.62 EGP for buying and 49.72 EGP for selling. QNB Al Ahli also recorded the same rates: 49.62 EGP for buying and 49.72 EGP for selling. Finally, the ALEXBANK (Bank of Alexandria)’s rates remained stable at 49.62 EGP for buying and 49.72 EGP for selling.
