A VCSO traffic stop revealed the car was stolen as well as 11 rifles.
VICTORIA, Texas – Victoria County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop Sunday, January 2, 2022, around 8:16 am on US 59 near the Loop Conoco station. It was revealed that the vehicle, a 2011 white Kia, was reported stolen out of Houston, Texas on December 23, 2021.
Deputies arrested the lone female occupant who was driving the car. During inventory of the vehicle, 11 rifles were located with missing serial numbers and other required documentation.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms took over the investigation and the suspect has been placed in the Victoria County Jail on charges related to the stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
Bond is pending at this time.
