Victoria MP Marlene Kairouz has achieved a small victory in her Victoria Supreme Court legal battle in relation to branch stacking allegations.
Justice Tim Ginnane handed down the decision today, ruling she had established a case to be granted an interlocutory injunction, “preventing the hearing of the charges until the determination of this proceeding.”
The former member of the Andrews cabinet was fighting to have her name cleared following allegations of branch stacking.
Ms Kairouz released a statement following the ruling, confirming she will not be making any further comments.
