Former employee addresses brawl
Former Golden Corral employee Dylan Becker told CBS Local he was informed about the fight by a current staff member.
Becker said: “I’ve never seen nothing like that in Golden Corral before. From what I heard it was over steak, apparently somebody cut in line.”
A friend of Becker’s, Gaven Lauletta, told the media outlet he had heard the same details and alleged the fight was over steak shortages.
Witness Alexis Rios claimed the misunderstanding started over steak. Rios alleged the person in front of him became irritated after waiting for steak, telling 6ABC: “I had a rare steak, which is a lot faster to cook than a well-done steak. That’s why I got my steak first.”
The police investigation continues.
