Video shows Doja Cat running back from bathroom as she almost misses Grammy win

Doja Cat nearly missed her first-ever Grammy award as she was seen running to get on stage after a quick toilet break.

Doja was nominated for eight of the categories. The category that had won was up against BTS, Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber & Benny Blanco, and Coldplay for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

As SZA was seen to be walking alone on crutches on the Grammy stage, a video of Doja Cat running through the crowd has become viral on Twitter.

Doja Cat wins her first-ever Grammy

One of the most significant and remarkable moments for artists is when they win an award in such a prestigious ceremony.

The American rapper was up for eight Grammys, including big categories such as Record of The Year and Song of The Year.

Doja, who shot fame in 2019, was excited to receive her first-ever Grammy award and broke down into tears. She was joined by R&B singer SZA for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

As she thanked her team, family, and fans, she also praised SZA as she was standing on crutches. ”This is a big deal. Thank you, everybody,” she said in tears.

A quick toilet run before heading to the stage

Those that missed Doja Cat’s sprint run at the Grammy stage can now see the moment in all its glory which was posted on Twitter.

Moments before she had to give her acceptance speech and receive her Grammy award for the hit single ‘Kiss Me More’ with SZA, the singer had to use the toilet.

As she realized that she had to go up on stage, Doja run back in heels and got up the Grammy stage out of breath.

“I’ve never taken such a fast p**s in my whole life,” Doha told the audience who then laughed.

The video, which was shot by someone in the audience, has caught the awkward yet humorous moment and it will never be forgotten.
