Illuminati theories have been flooding Twitter ever since a fake report about Kanye West missing surfaced online, but what has the rapper really said about illuminates?
Kanye has been making headlines ever since he was dropped by brands such as Adidas, Gap, and more. Since then, several other theories have emerged.
One of them happens to be the connection between the rapper and the Illuminati.
What has Kanye West said about Illuminati?
The only time that the rapper spoke about Illuminati was back in 2015 when he did an interview with Paper Magazine.
At that time, there had been rumors that suggested the Tidal press conference was an event for the illuminate members.
As reported by Yahoo, the rapper said in the interview: “I heard a comment — a joke — about the Tidal press conference being an Illuminati moment. If there was actually an Illuminati, it would be more like the energy companies. Not celebrities that gave their life to music and who are pinpointed as decoys for people who really run the world. I’m tired of people pinpointing musicians as the Illuminati. That’s ridiculous. We don’t run anything; we’re celebrities. We’re the face of brands. We have to compromise what we say in lyrics so we don’t lose money on a contract.”
How the ‘missing’ hoax started
The rumors about Kanye missing started after a hip-hop news Twitter account called Daily Loud claimed the same in one of its tweets.
“Kanye West has reportedly been missing and unable to find for weeks according to his ex-business manager,” noted the publication.
However, it fails to give any insight into how they got this information while also failing to reveal the source. From the looks of it, it looks like the rapper is taking a break from social media.
He recently announced his presidential run
On November 25, Ye confirmed his 2024 presidential run. On Twitter, the rapper posted a video of his blue campaign logo with a caption that read: “YE 2024.”
The announcement came just days after Trump had announced his presidential bid by stating: “In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States.”
Prior to this, Ye ran for the 2020 elections. However, he did not get to taste victory as he only won 70,000 votes.
