Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart have teamed up to provide viewers with a hilarious Olympics commentary on their show Olympic Highlights With Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg.
The rapper and comedian cracked jokes whilst reacting to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Equestrian event, and had fans in hysterics.
Snoop Dogg in particular enjoyed the event and applauded the horses for their “crip walk.” But what exactly is crip walking? Let’s find out…
Snoop Dogg commentates on Olympic horse’s “crip walking”
During his show with Kevin Hart, titled Olympic Highlights With Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg, Snoop made some hilarious comments on the equestrian event at the Tokyo 2020 Olymipcs.
The comedic duo received praise from hundreds of people online for their hilarious commentary, particularly Snoop Dogg who reacted to the horse’s walk. The rapper said:
“Horses. I like this. This is equestrian… Oh, the horse crip-walking, cuh! You see that? On the set! That’s gangsta as a motherf***er.”
Snoop then went on to exclaim: “Aw man, this horse is off the chain! I gotta get this motherf***er in a video!”
What is “Crip Walking?”
The Crip Walk is a move which originated in Compton, California, in the 1970s.
In 2003, actor and rapper CJ Mac produced a documentary titled C-Walk: It’s a Way of Livin’ which featured several rappers, and Crip gang members, who shared their opinions on the Crip walk.
During the documentary, Snoop Dogg shared his views on the move becoming popularised, saying:
“You gotta respect the game and be happy that it’s getting international exposure, and people actually wanna know what the meaning of it … It’s global now, so people can understand what you go through. People should be happy they’re dancin’ and not shootin’.”
