What’s up with Georgia properties history prices? : RealEstate

Hey guys, as the title suggests I started looking through the properties in Georgia as I plan to purchase a house in the next year or so however the price history on the realtor.com website is very weird. Price changes are sometimes extremely brutal, some houses even went from 110k$ to 20k$ between the years 2000-2010, as non-local I’m wondering has something bad happened over those years? Is there anything worth being aware of for the first-time property buyer in Georgia as a non-local? Did the prices skyrocket recently because of covid19?

And these are just a few houses I looked up, I found a lot more recently but first I thought it could be a website bug maybe but now I spot more and more houses like that
