Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts has revealed that she has bowel cancer. Her partner Kate Holderness posted an emotional post to voice her support.

Adele Roberts is a DJ, broadcaster and reality personality.
She has worked as a presenter for BBC Sport and she’s been hosting Radio 1’s Weekend Breakfast Show since early 2021.
Adele also took part in Big Brother 3, Big Brother 8 and the 2019 series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.

The 42-year-old revealed that she’s been battling a bowel cancer and said that she will undergo surgery to have the tumour removed.

Who is Adele Roberts’ partner?
Adele Roberts’ partner is Kate Holderness, an artist and actress.
She is known for playing a character named Jamie Lee in a couple of episodes of Coronation Street in 2013.
Kate runs her own Etsy shop, called HouseOfHolderness, where she sells her own artwork. The shop has had 541 sales so far but Kate is currently taking a break from that.
Moreover, she and Adele won the sixth series of E4’s Celebrity Coach Trip in November, 2020.

She shared an emotional post about Adele’s health condition and voiced her support for her partner, writing: “My @adeleroberts, after lots of checks, tests & scans, has been diagnosed with bowel cancer. The last few weeks have been…well I can’t even describe them. Nothing feels real…but also suddenly everything feels hyper real. There have been lots of tears (mainly from me), lots of sleepless nights, but surprisingly there’s been a lot of laughing too. I can’t wait for Adele to tell you about those times when she’s on the mend.
“Tomorrow she’ll be having surgery…I can’t go with her or be there when she wakes up & it’s the most horrible feeling desperately wanting her to get in that hospital ASAP but desperately not wanting to be without her.”
