Antonio Brown has been outspoken after leaving NFL franchise the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so who is Alex Guerrero who appears to have been one of the targets for Brown’s ire?
Brown was a wide receiver for the Buccaneers but made headlines when he walked away from the pitch during his team’s win over the New York Jets on Sunday, 2 January.
Brown was sacked for his actions but, in a statement released by his attorney Sean Burstyn on Wednesday and reported by Sky Sports, Brown said he was fired by Bruce Arians after telling the Buccaneers head coach he couldn’t return to the game because of an ankle injury.
Brown has certainly been outspoken about his time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and recently claimed, as reported by the BBC, that he was thrown out of the NFL club “like an animal”.
Things kicked up a notch on Thursday morning (6 January) when Brown uploaded screenshots to his Instagram story of an alleged text exchange with Alex Guerrero.
