Who is Brittney Griner’s wife?
Brittney’s Instagram reveals that she is currently married to a woman named Cherelle Watson, aka Cherelle T. Griner.
Cherelle is 29 years old and is a blogger by profession. She has over 30,000 followers on Instagram. Her bio reveals that she is currently a law student and a former Baylor University alumni.
In one of her Insta posts, Brittney revealed that she met her wife when they were both at Baylor University. The pair recently celebrated their fourth anniversary.
The two lovers often share pictures of themselves on Instagram.
NBA star’s relationship with Glory Johnson explored
The 30-year-old Olympian has been married in the past.
Brittney had a short-lived marriage with fellow WNBA star Glory Johnson. The pair were married between 2015 and 2016.
Merely a few weeks after tying the knot, Glory learned she was pregnant as a result of a round of IVF the couple underwent. The couple’s tumultuous relationship made many headlines – both before and after their marriage.
At the time, domestic violence allegations surfaced against Brittney. The Olympian pleaded guilty and even enrolled in domestic violence courses. However, her wife, Glory, did not do the same, thus fueling backlash from the Phoenix Mercury star for throwing her under the bus.
When issues between the two reached a boiling point, Brittney filed for an annulment. When a judge denied the annulment, the two-headed straight for divorce.
Brittney alleged that Glory had cheated on her. The WNBA star also refused to participate in Glory’s pregnancy. A judge denied her spousal support in the divorce battle.
The now mother of two claimed in an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, that the twins were born premature and she was struggling to raise them alone as her financial situation floundered.

In the August 8 match, Brittney scored 30 points and led the US women’s basketball team to their seventh consecutive Olympic gold medal.
Brittney’s 10 first-quarter points cleared Team USA’s path to gold. Besides her, basketball star Breanna Stewart put on a terrific performance by securing 14 points and 14 rebounds. She also managed to register five steals, five assists and three perfectly blocked shots.
Fellow forward A’ja Wilson also scored 10 points in the first half.
