At this year’s BAFTA ceremony, actor and director Noel Clarke received one of the top awards for Outstanding British Contribution To Cinema.
However, he has now had his award revoked after The Guardian published an investigation in which 20 women accused him of sexual harassment.
Noel said in a statement that he “vehemently [denies] any sexual misconduct or wrongdoing” and “intends to defend [himself] against these false allegations”.

Who is Noel Clarke?
Noel Clarke is an English actor, screenwriter, director and comic book writer.
The 45-year-old from Notting Hill, London, is most known for his roles as Mickey Smith in Doctor Who and Sam in Kidulthood, Adulthood and Brotherhood.
In 2015, Clarke founded his own film company Unstoppable Film and Television with fellow actor Jason Maza, and he now writes and directs many productions.
He won the Laurence Olivier Award for Most Promising Performer in 2003, the BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award in 2009.
Other notable films he’s appeared in include Fast Girls (2012), I Am Soldier (2014), The Corrupted (2019), Twist (2021), and many more.
Who is his wife?
Noel Clarke is married to Iris De Silva, a Portuguese makeup artist who worked on a number of movies and TV shows.
The pair are pretty private about their personal life, any any further details about their wedding and marriage are unknown.
