Influencer Tabitha Brown took to YouTube on July 1 to announce that her husband was retiring from his service at the Los Angeles Police Department. However, Wendy Williams commented on the news by drawing comparisons with her own marriage, which didn’t serve Tabitha well.
Wishing her husband the best for his future endeavors, Tabitha said in her video, “When my husband went on this journey, he really felt like he could make a difference and I know that he has in his community. He has done his part. But I also know it’s time for him to dream again.”

Who is Chance Brown?
Chance Brown served as the officer for the Los Angeles Police Department. He also gained prominence by appearing alongside his wife on her IGTV show.
Apart from his job as a police officer and television personality, Chance coaches basketball to children.

What did Wendy Williams say?
Commenting on Tabitha’s video about her husband’s retirement, Wendy Williams went on to talk about her own experience from her previous marriage.
The talk show host said, “I was married to one of those, ‘I make the money!’ and so on and so forth. ‘Go live your dreams! Open a business! Go, go, go!’ See how that turned out…I predict that this marriage is going to be on real rocky ground in a moment. ‘Live your dream’… They may invest in stuff and lose the money.”
As the crowd responds with laughter, Wendy further adds, “They invest in something else then the money gets swindled or stolen. Then they invest again and he comes home and throws his bag down. She’s like ‘What? What?’ And he’s like, ‘I can’t do this and this is your fault. You’re over here making your money and stuff and had me quit my job.’”

Tabitha Brown shuts down Wendy Williams
It’s obvious that Tabitha wasn’t convinced with what Wendy had to say about her husband. So she took to Instagram to clap back at the television host, as she defended her relationship with her husband.
Tabitha gracefully reacted to Wendy by saying, “Wendy, the pain you must be in to feel this way, honey, I’m so sorry. But listen, let me tell you this. Twenty-three years I’ve been with my husband, broke for a very long time together. Struggled for a very long time together. Succeeded for the last couple of years together.”
She explained how she and Chance have supported each other through their relationship and career, overcoming many obstacles in life. ”I did every year with him in the LAPD and he did every year with me with rejection and no’s in this entertainment industry,” Tabitha is heard saying.
Towards the end of her video, Tabitha tells Wendy, “It’s also the power of allowing God to be first in your marriage. That’s how it remains successful, we keep him first.” Taking a dig at the host’s opinion about failed marriages, Tabitha explained, “He is first in our marriage. Not money, not business, not success, but God. He’s first.”
