A comedian and YouTuber known online as “The Real Spark” has gone viral after parodying a video of a man duct-taped to his seat on a Frontier flight.
In his take on the event, The Real Spark plays the role of flight attendant “Alfredo Rivera,” who taped the man down after the passenger was accused of groping and assaulting three flight attendants.
The Real Spark’s video has gathered over 2 million views on YouTube and fans cannot get enough of the comedian.
Who is The Real Spark?
The Real Spark is a comedian from Louisiana, whose real name is James Bates. James boasts a whopping 188 thousand subscribers on YouTube and also has a large following on Twitter and Instagram.
James has shot to new levels of fame after his latest parody video went viral on Twitter and YouTube. In the video, he parodies “Alfredo Rivera,” the flight attendant who duct-taped a passenger to a seat on a Frontier flight recently.
In his comedy clip, James says: “I’m a flight attendant, that means I attend the flight. Sometimes our job has us attending to crazy people. If you push us too far, you’re going to have to attend this ass whooping.”

YouTuber parodies Frontier airlines duct tape video
The Real Spark’s video is a parody of a viral clip which surfaced online last week. In the video, a 22 year-old man was duct-taped onto his seat during a Frontier Airlines flight after he was accused of groping and assaulting three flight attendants.
In a statement, Frontier Airlines said:
“During a flight from Philadelphia to Miami on July 31, a passenger made inappropriate physical contact with two flight attendants and subsequently physically assaulted another flight attendant.”
“As a result, the passenger needed to be restrained until the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived.”
After the event was posted onto social media, it quickly went viral on Twitter, and inspired The Real Spark’s parody.
