Jolie Poirier is enjoying the sweet taste of revenge.
Conor McGregor dragged Dustin Poirier’s wife into their feud during the build-up to Sunday’s fight at UFC 264 and as a new video revealed, continued targeting the winner’s better half even after his broken leg stopped the contest.

Last week McGregor posted on social media Jolie was trying to privately message the Irishman on Instagram, and at the pre-fight press conference told Poirier: “Your wife is your husband, you’re only a little b**** of a thing, a silly little hillbilly.”
McGregor continued the tirade with another vulgar sledge on Twitter before stepping into the Octagon, and once again raised Jolie trying to slide into his DMs while he sat against the cage after suffering his gruesome injury in the first round of Sunday’s trilogy fight.
McGregor came under fire for his classless post-fight antics and pundits have questioned whether his days as a top-tier fighter are over.
Jolie is certainly enjoying the feedback, as plenty agree Poirier dominated the opening round and would have beaten McGregor to a pulp if injury didn’t stop the bout early.
The Notorious’ rival Khabib Nurmagomedov said it was clear Poirier was on top. “What is going to happen? I don’t think something’s going to happen,” he said when asked how the fight would have panned out if McGregor didn’t injure himself.
“The judges gave Poirier a 10-8. He mauled (McGregor) in the first round.
“If they fight 100 times, Dustin is gonna beat him 100 times.”
Jolie re-posted that quote on her Instagram story on Wednesday, with a series of clapping hands.
She also re-posted an image of her flipping McGregor the bird inside the Octagon as he was interviewed by Joe Rogan — an interview which attracted the ire of his coach John Kavanagh.
Earlier, Jolie praised her husband — who beat McGregor in January to square the ledger at 1-1 after two fights — for his character, while appearing to take a veiled swipe at his 32-year-old opponent, seemingly suggesting Poirier was everything McGregor is not.
“Thank you @dustinpoirier for being the realest, most consistent human being,” she wrote on Instagram. “Always remaining the same person & staying true to the path. Never having to change who you are to impress others.
“I admire so much about you & you continue to inspire us all. Congratulations on another beautiful performance! Now, let’s kick our feet up & relax.”
Meanwhile, McGregor provided an update on his injury after undergoing surgery on his leg, telling his fans “everything went to plan and everything went perfect” and he is “feeling tremendous”.
