FINAL LEADERBOARD
EQUIPMENT NOTES:
- Like many other players on Tours around the world, the younger Korda sister has switched to Titleist’s TSi range of drivers. Interestingly though, Nelly had the recently released TSi1 driver in the bag this week. Designed to be super lightweight for moderate swing speed players (swing speed under 90 mph) rather than the world’s best players, the TSi1 comes standard with a shaft weighing around 40 grams as opposed to the 60 plus gram shaft Korda uses.

The 22-year-old’s fourth LPGA Tour win is her first in American and also comes in her home state of Florida. Usually one of the best ball strikers on Tour, Korda struggled with her approach play on Sunday, hitting just 12 greens in regulation. But she made up for it with the putter, needing just 27 putts in the final round on her way to victory with her Scotty Cameron putter she has used for much of her career.

The 2019 Australian Open champion’s win continues the dominant streak for Titleist golf balls on the LPGA Tour. The brand’s Pro V1 and Pro V1x models have now been used by the last 15 straight winners on the circuit, while Korda’s win gives her family back-to-back wins after Jessica’s win at the CME Group Tour Championship.
QUOTE: “Honestly, I was pretty uneasy all day. I was not hitting it good. I was not hitting enough greens. I was not hitting it great off the tee. I just kept it together. I really grinded today – Nelly Korda.
