A touch of beachside New York has made an impression in Melbourne’s outer north, with Wollert’s house price record lifted $20,000 by a Hamptons-style home.
The refined five-bedroom build at 15 Osmond Cres sold for $1.56m on December 29 after being advertised for $1.45m-$1.55m in a private sale campaign.
Another impressive home at 20 Pavilion Boulevard had set a new record itself with its $1.54m sale in November amid a string of top-end sales in the suburb.

SKAD Real Estate agent Rahul Malik did not respond to Herald Sun requests for comment, but previously said the Osmond Cres home was “better than the display homes in Wollert”.
“And the owner of this house has upgraded the design to include five bedrooms, all with ensuites and walk-in robes, and an extra theatre room as well,” he said.
Mr Malik previously said the sellers, who had the property built in 2019, were moving to New South Wales to be closer to their children in Sydney.
“It’s actually the location that sets it apart,” he said.
“In front of the house will be parkland in the future and its right on Edgars Rd, which goes all the way from Wollert to Epping and even to Thomastown.
“The build inside is top of the range with huge windows in the kitchen. From level one you can actually enjoy the city fireworks; where the pool table is you can see the city towers there. It’s above all the houses and it’s a nice view.”
Wollert’s median house price is $629,500, according to realestate.com.au.
