A woman’s body was discovered in a woodland area of London’s Hampstead Heath this morning.
Jack Straw’s Castle, a nearby Grade II-listed building, was sealed off by Met Police officers.
The woman is yet to be formally identified and is not yet known if her death is being treated as suspicious.
Authorities are yet to reveal how she died or how long the body had been in the north London park, but a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

Jack Straw’s Castle dates back to the 18th century and used to be a pub until its closure in 2002.
It is mentioned in Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Charles Dickens was known to drink there, describing it as place where he could get ‘a red-hot chop for dinner, and a glass of good wine’, MailOnline reports.
